May 23, 2012 - And I didn't ask for your 2 cents, faggot.

Sonic2710 Says:

May 22, 2012 - I really doubt that Sonic will 'always be around'. It's starting to lose its brand power. Admittedly, it's still relatively powerful in itself, but it's the only thing that Sega's existence hinges on. The moment people lose interest in Sonic (and they will, the franchise is gradually becoming more and more irrelevant), is the moment Sega fails. Meaning Sonic itself will die, unless Sega sells the franchise to another company. And Nintendo should buy it.

May 22, 2012 - I don't get this whole COD/Mario/Sonic discussion, it's pretty pointless, Nintendo will always be better than other companies since their games are centered around being fun and epic regardless of graphics (Which are still awesome by the way) or annoying realism (We're playing GAMES for a reason), but Sonic and COD are also great, SEGA is a very good company and although they've messed up a bit with Sonic, Generations and Colors bring them back, and the COD franchise is just as awesome.

crew8976 Says:

May 22, 2012 - The problem w/ Sonic is that although it's flashy and fun, it just consists of pushing the Analog Stick forward to run...

crew8976 Says:

May 22, 2012 - And you suck Donkey Balls

crew8976 Says:

May 22, 2012 - Well, Crash Bandicoot: Warped was brilliant

crew8976 Says:

May 22, 2012 - Fuck You

crew8976 Says:

May 22, 2012 - 06 and Black Knight suck, but i don't really get why so many people complain about Unleashed, it's awesome

NoSkinnedKoopa Says:

May 20, 2012 - I wonder why Nintendo didn't use the realistic grass at 0:17 in the game.

kqawiyy Says:

May 20, 2012 - Well you see, 461 people liked this video so much, that they turned their computers upside-down just so that they can like it again!

WhitetyeFan Says:

May 19, 2012 - 461 Dislikes?1 There should be 0...

mariomaster98 Says:

May 18, 2012 - @TheSageCyclone Most of those were early demo stages, not the final product.

mariomaster98 Says:

May 18, 2012 - @MrThefighter322 Yep, totally agree. Hence the name I have. Sonic Generations was amazing (3DS version at least)

ParaSpikyHyperGoomba Says:

May 18, 2012 - Admittedly, this game DID lack story, but it made up for it with the improved level design and gameplay. I wish Nintendo would begin to vary the story a little, but, we've got the RPGs for that!

TheSageCyclone Says:

May 16, 2012 - most of the things in that video did not happen

Spriggax Says:

May 14, 2012 - I wish all the levels shown off in this trailer had made it into the game, they look really fun.

FunOrange42 Says:

May 14, 2012 - HAHAHA I'll give you a thumbs up if you suck my dick, deal?

Treyworld Says:

May 13, 2012 - You said you didn't enjoy this game as much as the first because it doesn't look like it's in space as often. I would have understood for a more logical reason like 'It's not as plot driven" or "there's more linear stages." But criticizing a game for not using the same background aesthetic (to keep reassuring you that you're still in space) is pretty silly. Hell, the main reason why SMG2 was made is because of all the ideas Nintendo had for the LEVEL DESIGN.

ManOfAction9 Says:

May 13, 2012 - I'm the smartass? I was stating my opinion in my first comment and you had to come along and be a dick about it, this debate is all on you. To answer your question, it is a game set in space, on small planetoids. I can tell that it is indeed space and not a night sky because the bloody game isn't called Super Mario Nighttime. The planetoids are too small to have their own atmosphere, blue skies, and clouds. However it can be justified with larger galaxies like Beach Bowl Galaxy.

Treyworld Says:

May 13, 2012 - If you look below or very occasionally above some of the levels with blue skies, you can see a dark space with stars. Some kind of split-visual look. About the 'sky' and 'flat land' thing, some people criticized (or rather nitpicked like YOU are doing) the first game for having a lot of dark sky levels and planetoid areas. So the made the second game more varied. Also, how can you tell when a level in either game is in space or during nighttime? Answer that one, smartass.

dreamsprayanimation Says:

May 13, 2012 - all of the planets in the super mario galaxy games remind me of the little prince for some reason. when i play these games there so amazing its like i am in a dream.

ManOfAction9 Says:

May 13, 2012 - 1. When I buy a game set in space, I expect to play in fucking space. Not on planets with blue skies and planets. 2. Yeah no shit sherlock, that is why I said "The first Mario Galaxy game had beautiful starry skies in MOST of the levels." Thanks for pointing out what I already know. Also there were significantly fewer planetoids with their own gravitational pull. There was too many flat land like in Super Mario 64. The first game, in my opinion, was more deserving of the 'Galaxy' title.

Treyworld Says:

May 13, 2012 - 1. Some of those levels took place on a planet with it's own atmosphere which is why there are blue skies and clouds. 2. The first Super Mario Galaxy also had levels like these. 3. LOOK HARDER.
