May 4, 2012 - makes me wanna cry. :') dogs are so loyal. they never lie to you. i miss my cocker spaniel i had for 12 years. she was the best best best friend i've ever had. still love you Taffy! you will always be my baby!!
Apr 24, 2012 - I remember this song from years ago, untill now i never thought about it like i do now. See i just lost my dog"best friend' of 15 years a few weeks ago. I really feel alone now when i come home and rosie isn"t there. REST IN PEACE OLD FRIEND. Im glad i ran acrossed this song again.
Apr 24, 2012 - The dog I grew up with was named Spock (cuz he was pointy-eared and way too smart). I always picture him when I hear this song. He was a great mutt.
Apr 20, 2012 - I always loved this song. I named my dog Jake for this song. I came home one evening and found Jake had been chasing a squirrel or something and got his chain caught on the family swing... He was gone by the time I found him...I cried for days. It took me almost a year to be able to play this song again. Now I play it and remember he is in a better place.
Apr 14, 2012 - no one has not known the love of a dog has ever known love. there is no greater love in this world. all he asks is love in return. i lost my special boy eight months ago, and i will never get over his loss, even though i have other babies whom i love also
Apr 3, 2012 - Sorry to hear about your dog. I'm sure he's waiting to play with you again someday. In Heaven they all stay puppies. Our bodies only last for so long, but Love is forever.
Mar 25, 2012 - Knew this video would leave me sobbing but had to watch it after many years. A few "Jakes" are in my house as spirits that I miss everyday. Still have a house full of rescues w/ issues & a piece of me will go with each of them but the love they give when I get home, well I wouldn't have it any other way. I too would give anything to not know what I do & go back to that age!
Mar 17, 2012 - Over 7 years ago when we were looking for another dog, we thought we'd like a "Jake". So we did. Jake (Jerdans Pirate of the Mississippi), a 150 lb brindle Dane, went to the bridge less than 2 weeks ago, so of course, this song brings tears to our eyes and a lump to our throat.
Mar 16, 2012 - I find myself reminiscing about the carefree times. Seems like now its not as fun no matter what kind of money you make.
I would give up everything just to be a carefree kid again. The journey of life...bittersweet!
Mar 12, 2012 - Even after all the years, this song still touches my heart... Such a great song, yet sad at the same time.. It's just one of those songs you have to love...
