Nov 17, 2011 - My siblings went to some of the best schools in the world, they came out with less that I will purely because I thrive off learning. Most of the top universities offer online versions of their courses so these days its not hard to get a good idea about the levels and standards of education you can receive. What I have noticed more and more is that I have found online resources that match and better that standard. If you havent then well that might be why you feel like that.

Nov 17, 2011 - No i didn't, I was said that because there are industries which still regard degrees over a proven ability or aptitude. For those things a degree is still a good way to get into the career, for all else its a good opportunity to have some time to develop yourself. The people that get most from university in my experience are the ones that do the most extra curricular learning. The autodidacts that would other wise be learning anyway but have no got more time afforded to them to do so.
